Salt therapy is a completely natural, non-invasive way to treat various conditions and is also a great way to take the reins on a better sense of well-being. This drug-free treatment allows dry salt particles to be inhaled, which assists with the treatment of respiratory conditions. Additionally, the salt particles that are not inhaled take residence on the skin, which moisturize and rejuvenate!

During a salt therapy session in a salt cabin, the client breathes in microscopic salt particles that have a positive effect on the body as a whole. The dry salt in the salt cabin gets rid of airborne particles that have made their way into the airways and also helps to rid the body of toxins. It is a safe addition to any current treatment regimen, and will not pose any negative side effects to those that take part in a salt therapy session. You will not find any microbes or allergens in the salt cabin, allowing the immune system to rest during the session. This, along with the negative ions being emitted, help to strengthen the immune system.

Salt therapy benefits both adults and children, as it is a very safe form of treatment for those with respiratory or skin conditions. Even those that don’t have a specific ailment to treat can benefit from the calming effects of salt therapy. Those that have restricted mobility can benefit from salt therapy, as mucus tends to build up quicker in their lungs. Treatment does not include movement, and will help to clear their airways and improve their quality of life.

Those that take part in salt cabin sessions leave feeling refreshed. They feel better physically, as well as emotionally. Salt therapy is truly a one-stop-shop for those looking to improve themselves! Salt therapy sessions in the salt cabin are  peaceful, rejuvenating, and relaxing. It is an escape from the world and all of the daily stresses that you encounter. By incorporating salt therapy into your weekly routine, you will be on track to a happier, healthier you.

How does salt therapy work?
Dry pharmaceutical grade salt is heated and then it is ground and crushed into very tiny microparticles in a machine called a halogenerator. These dry aerosol microparticles of salt are then dispersed into the SALT Booth® during a typical session. As the person relaxes, the microparticles are inhaled. The particles penetrate deep into the lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli. Bacteria and pollutants are dissolved as salt enters the lungs and respiratory system by eliminating mucous and opening constricted airways.

What kind of salt do you use?
We use pharmaceutical grade designed specifically for halogenerators. It is 99.99% sodium chloride.

What do I wear for my salt therapy session?
You may wear your normal clothes, we do ask that you remove your shoes while in the salt cabin. If you have dark clothing on, you may see a bit of salt on your clothes but it can generally be brushed off easily.

I have a cold, how often should I come?
For active symptoms, we recommend our week pass. (4 sessions in 7 days) Then 1-2 times per week until symptoms are resolved. If you have fever or persistent cough, please wait until you are fever free for 24 hours and your cough subsides a bit.
